The arrival of Santa and his reindeer on Christmas Eve sets the stage for this festive 2022 $50 fine silver coin from the Royal Canadian Mint. In natural light the image is captivating, showing Santa and his reindeer in a winter scene with pine trees in the background. But the magic starts when the coin is viewed under the included black light, which activates and reveals the brilliant colours of the holiday lights on the trees on the trees. Mintage is limited to just 2,500 coins. HST/GST exempt.
This is the first coin in what is expected to be an ongoing annual series to mark each Christmas, and will be the only coin in the series to include the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The coin comes presented in a classic Royal Canadian Mint case and an attractive outer beauty box.
