What are “Mobile Payouts”?
We understand that some customers may have special needs, and may not be able to come into our store for a myriad of reasons.
For these customers we pay a little less to cover the costs associated with travelling to and from your office or residential location.
Our mobile service is only available to customers who have at least $1000 of precious metals to sell.
Please call our staff to discuss the mobile options.
What is "Premium Jewellery”'?
When we receive any jewellery that is obviously of much higher quality, we regularly deem these pieces as "premium" and we offer the much higher payout

Do you buy Gold or Silver or Platinum Coins?
We buy any bullion coins from any recognized mint, and we try to give you the highest payout possible based on current market conditions.
Do you buy Gold or Silver or Platinum Bars?
We buy any bullion bars from any recognized mint, and we try to give you the highest payout possible based on current market conditions.
Do you buy Broken Jewelry?

Only if the diamond/s are set in a piece of jewellery you also want to sell at the same time.
If your items contain diamonds, we will have them appraised and offer you our most competitive price. Your payout will depend upon the quality, colour and carat of your diamond/s. 401Gold does not offer a stone removal service unless the stone is in a prong setting.
Do you buy Gemstones?
401Gold does not buy loose gemstones, but we do make offers for gemstones when they are set inside an item with a Prong setting. Our gemstone rates are based on wholesale market rates. 401Gold DOES NOT offer a stone removal service unless the stone is in a prong setting.
Do you buy Dental Gold?
401Gold will buy all your Gold or Silver Crowns, Bridges, PFM’s, PFG’s, Inlays, and Caps with or without the bone or porcelain.
What are my payment options?
401Gold adheres to a rigorous KYC (Know Your Customer) compliance policy, as and such we can pay you by Interac, or to your PayPal address, or by Company Check. 401Gold only pays by cash if requested in advance at our store only. Customers requiring cash payments are also required to supply a 2nd photo ID as well as their social security number as per FinTrac regulations.

What is Spot Price?
The Spot Price is the value right now on the markets for your precious metals.
Do I need to supply Photo ID when selling to you?
As per Provincial and Canadian law, 401Gold requires us to record the details from one of the following forms of “valid” ID
- Canadian Drivers License
- Canadian Passport
- Canadian Permanent Resident Card
Provincial Health care cards are not acceptable forms of ID
For International customers, we are required to photocopy your “valid” passport.
Do I need to supply Photo ID when buying from you?
For purchases that have payouts exceeding $200.00, we require proof of the seller's Social Insurance Number as well as a Canadian Government Issued Photo ID with proof of address as per Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada.
Please call us in advance if you intend on selling any bullion over $1000.
Requirements For All Purchases
As per municipal, provincial law and Canadian law we can only purchase from clients who are at least 18 years of age. All purchases require us to record the details of one piece of "valid" Government Issued Photo ID. Provincial Health Cards are not valid forms of ID for these laws. For visitors to Canada who do not have Canadian ID, we are required to take a photocopy of your international passport.
