This is by the far the BEST place and ONLY place you should come to if looking to sell (in my case we had a bunch of coins). My boyfriend and I found this place and we met Daniel on the very first visit. Daniel has been so awesome! He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to look at what you have, and walks you through what he's looking for. He also has a big screen up so you can see what he's searching and what he bases his offers on. Most other places wouldnt even look at your coins one by one like Daniel does, his vibe also makes you feel welcomed and comfortable - and I loved the reactions he had when he saw what we had for him , you can truly see his passion! He's even taken a look at our coins past closing which was not our intention but he insisted it was fine. We visited numerous times and met some of the other staff which were all very friendly and helped out with our transactions. Another day we stayed a while as we had a lot for Daniel to look through and Kash offered us some water as well as gave us some advice on selling other products. All in all this location and the staff are awesome!!

My sister and I recently lost our mother at the age of 102. As you can imagine the loss of a loved one causes lots of different emotions. My mother had some gold bars and a safety deposit box and it was really difficult trying to retreive them from the bank. Eventually we did get them, but we had never sold gold or gold bars before, we naturally thought the logical and Safeway to do it would be go to the bank We called TD Bank because we both had accounts there and they said they would buy the gold and when we arrived, they looked at it and looked at the numbers and said no we can’t buy it. well, you can imagine how uncertain we were and so since the bars had been purchased at Scotiabank, we decided to try to contact the Scotiabank to sell them. You can imagine never selling jewellery or gold before we were reluctant to go to someone that we knew nothing about. So I googled reviews about 401gold and was pleasantly surprised that I could not find one negative review. I called and spoke to Dan. He was so forthright and reassuring that we decided to go and visit. when we arrived at his store, everything was just as he had explained on the phone we talked for a while we got to know each other and decided to sell our gold to Dan and his wife Kash. they were very fair and gave us what we thought was a very good deal. In the future if we need to sell gold or coins they would be the first place that we would go with complete confidence. We did a larger than normal transaction with 401 Gold. Our first time dealing with a non institutional buyer (banks) so naturally we were a bit hesitant. I will tell you, it was a FANTASTIC transaction from start to finish. Incredibly open and honest about every step of our transaction. From the impressive fast, high tech testing methods which he demonstrated the whole process for me. I was given a VERY FAIR price for my gold. We would absolutely recommend 401 Gold to anyone. They know their stuff!! Daniel and Kash are two lovely people that I would enjoy going to dinner with, incredibly personable. Can't give 6 stars, but we would if we could.

I normally don’t leave reviews but this place deserves a lot of hype! I was nervous going in to sell some gold jewelry because I had a bad experience with the “cash man” (if you know you know) so I was pleasantly surprised at what a great experience it was dealing with Kash. From the start she was so nice, knowledgeable & sincere. She went through the whole process of how my jewelry would be assessed & I was really impressed at how thorough & transparent she was. She is also extremely honest & stands by the fact that everyone deserves to know what their valuables are worth. I ended up keeping one piece of jewelry & she offered to clean it for me which was so sweet. I would recommend this place to anyone & will only go here in the future. Had multiple questions before buying gold as investment. Daniel was very kind and patient while educating me about the precious metals and what to buy for investment and collectables. I just recently had taken in a number of items to sell. The experience was great, the staff was friendly also very informative and the prices were great and more then fair in my opinion. The process was all explained before hand. COVID procedure’s for safety also to the max. Separated from the employees by protective glass, so you can see everything they are doing with the items you bring…also surgical gloves are worn throughout the process. I had the staff do some research on these Salt and pepper shakers which Daniel (staff) thought were quite amazing so I decided to keep them. When I first brought them in , they we’re in really rough shape colour wise. I thought they were silver and it turns out that they were solid nickel. Daniel was able to restore the look of them as if they were brand new from the 1930s..thank you so much Daniel. I’m definitely referring your company to friends and family.

You could not ask for a better, more transparent operation. Laboratory equipment with everything in full view, big screens to show you spot prices, and services offered will put anyone at ease. I cannot stress the laboratory equipment enough; we’re talking 3 significant figure scales and X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) non-destructive testing, all in full view to you. These guys don’t mess around. Daniel is also a great teacher and just a great personality. Don’t go anywhere else. Wish I could give more than a 100% review score.

The owner shows you the whole process and walks you through everything, and even offers u chocolate. Over all it was a very plasent and fair experience. 5 stars
